Group Therapy

Group therapy is a very unique experience. We all have one or more people we know that we confide somewhat to a lot in, but group therapy is a planned meeting of individuals who have been or are going through a similar challenge or issue in life. This theme is purposeful in order to help group members know they are not alone.

The picture on this site (a group of people on a mountain) is very metaphorically parallel to the group member experience. Group members are on a journey together, not alone. Where one goes, we all go. Progression is at the rate of the “hiker” facing the most challenges with the “hike.” In other words, if even one group member is struggling in processing emotions, understanding a concept, or implementing a skill or tool, all group members work together to assist them with the “climb.”

Groups I'm currently offering

To join any group please email fortheloveoftherapy@gmail.com and list the group that interests you in the subject line. There may be preliminary paperwork and/or assessments to complete before you gain approval to join a group.
